Network access for the new generation S-615 and S-514 machines

Model data sharing between our lens cutting and eye rim bending machines is now easier than before.

For standard machine versions of Schüssler S-514 and S-615, model data can be imported either via tracer, via USB or via Ethernet from a network PC.
From now on, every machine can be optionally equipped ex works with a pre-programmed connection to a customer network. This allows access of one or more machines to a shared directory, which enables model data to be uploaded and downloaded directly from the machine itself. Several machines, even among themselves, are now able to share eye shape data including stored corrections.
A typical application for this function is the bending of eye rims with subsequent milling of suitable demo lenses in small production batches.
Network creation, Ethernet connection to each machine and the operational setup are required.
